SHEEPTOWN FAT TIRE RALLY JUNE 19-21!!!!

Howdy folks,
It’s that time of year again when we dust off the shenanigans and polish our debaucherous ways to bring you a weekend of fun you will likely not forget, if you can remember what happened.
This year’s event brings us a schedule full of good times and camaraderie. Check out the happenings below and get the word out. The more the merrier!

FRIDAY JUNE 19TH:  POWERHOUSE BBQ AND SHEEPTOWN DRAG RACES!

7:00 PM BBQ at Powerhouse Fit Studio featuring Billy O’s Soon-to-be famous tri tip steak!

details: BBQ and Beer on the lawn with music, bring your bike, appetite and thirst.

9:00 PM Sheeptown Drags
details: Just like last year this is head to head “drag racing” in a single elimination bracket format. Bring your bike and your tuned pistons to try and out-drag your buddies. Side bets and trash talking encouraged.
Powerhouse is located at 703 North 1st Avenue in Hailey behind the Sinclair Station.

SATURDAY JUNE 20th

SHEEPTOWN EPIC, POOL PARTY, PIG ROAST AND….ONE HANDED HOT DOG HILL CLIMB WORLD TIME TRIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

10:00 AM Sheeptown Epic
details: Wakey Wakey Eggs and Bakey! This is a notorious group ride of epic proportions around some of the best trails in the valley. Expect to ride a comfortable pace for 4-6 hours. Bring some water and some food you are going to need it!

6:30 PM Wiseguy Sheeptown Cruiser Crawl and BCRD Luau Pool Party
details: Meet at 6:30 PM at the Wiseguy in Hailey. We will be doing a cruiser crawl to some sites around town finishing at the Blaine County Pool. PLEASE WEAR YOUR HELMET!!!! This is for kids and adults and we want to set a good example. We also want to make sure no one ends up with a life long drooling issue.

7:30 PM Hawaiian Luau and Pig Roast!
details: Following the conclusion of the cruiser crawl hop into your trunks and hit the BCRD pool! Once you are ready to dive into some pork we will be serving up two roasted pigs with all of the fixin’s.
cost: $15 adults/$5 kids for all you can eat and drink including the cruiser crawl keg-on-wheels! Any left over funds will go to the Wood River Bike Coalition, more on that later.

7:30 PM: CK’s HOT DOG HILLCLIMB ONE HANDED WORLD TIME TRIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
Just like last year, this event is a test of skill and stamina challenging you to ride your bike up a secret hill with a hot dog in one hand. You must ride the entire course with only one hand on the bars at all times, safely cradling your nitrate stick in the other. Riders will be set off in 30 second intervals. CK will be slinging the dogs so it is important that you handle the thing like it was your first born–these are some high end dogs!

SUNDAY JUNE 21ST TRAIL CREEK CHAINLESS DOWNHILL
details: Following the Trail Creek Hill Climb on Sunday, riders will be challenged to remove the chain from their bike and pin it towards town down Trail Creek Pass. The rider coasting the furthest is the winner. What ever you choose to descend with must be ridden to the top of the pass. So if you are thinking of riding your MTB and loading a back pack with rocks, go ahead. Just make sure that is how you climb the pass!
